How to print your digital files

The most common questions i get from customer is how do i print my order? What paper do i print on? Where do i print? Etc... So i thought i would create a reference for everyone wondering how to get those cute toppers from their computer to their dessert table, so here we go!

Invitations
Size:
Most invitations and thank you cards come in 4x6" or 5x7"
File Type:
Your invites will be sent to you as either a JPEG or PDF
A jpeg is a single picture file, you should print jpegs just as you would print a normal photo, you can print your jpeg files from your home photo printer onto photo paper or put them on a flash drive and take them in to a photo center such as Walgreens, CVS, Walmart etc you can also upload your files directly from your computer to the stores website (most stores offer this)
Tip: Online upload forms only accept files originally created in RGB mode, if your file was not created in RGB you will get an error message when trying to upload, if this happens contact your designer and inform them of the error I'm sure they would be happy to fix it for you.

A pdf file is sent with two invitations on an 8.5x11" page and will require to be cut out after printing; you should print your pdf files as you would print a normal document. You can print your pdf files from your home computer onto cardstock or put them on a flash drive and take them in to a copy and print center such as Kinkos, Office Max or office depot, you can also upload your file directly to the stores website from your home computer
Recommended printing method:
For jpegs I suggest printing at Walmart, you can upload your file directly to the Walmart website, (choose the printing an invitation or card method not the printing a photo method), your file will be printed on high quality cardstock and Walmart includes an envelope with each invitation how great is that! You can either choose to pick up in store or get them sent to your door, im in Los Angeles and the price is .70 cents per invite but may be different at your local Walmart.
For PDF’s I recommend printing at office max or Kinkos,

Cupcake Toppers
Your cupcake toppers will be sent to you as a PDF with 12 toppers per page. Print your toppers as you would a normal document with a home printer or at a copy and print center. Cupcake toppers should be printed on high quality 80-110lb cardstock, cardstock can be found at almost all copy and print centers simply inform the associate that you would like your order printed on cardstock.
After printing you can cut your toppers into squares or punch them out with a 2" scalloped or circle craft punch, you can then proceed to attach you cut out toppers to a lollipop stick or toothpick and insert into your cupcakes.

Favor Tags
Favor tags are cute little cards made to be hung or attached to your party favor bags. Favor tags can be personalized with the name of each party guests or can display a message such as "A gift for you" or "Thank you for coming".
Like cupcake toppers your favor tags will be sent to you as a PDF with 12 per page. Print your tags as you would a normal document from a home printer or at a copy and print center. Tags should be printed on high quality 80-110lb cardstock, cardstock can be found at almost all copy and print centers simply inform the associate that you would like your order printed on cardstock.
After printing you can cut your tags into squares or punch them out with a 2" scalloped or circle craft punch, you can then proceed to attach your tags to your party favor bags with a glue dot or double sided tape, you can also punch out a small hole in the top or corner of the tag and attach to your favors with ribbon, twine, tulle etc....

Birthday Banner
A banner is a great way to dress up a dessert table, a plain wall or door way or to direct your guests to where the party is being held.
Your banner will be sent to you as a pdf file with two banner pieces per 8.5x11" page, each banner piece measures approximately 5x7".
Print your banner as you would a normal document from a home printer or at a copy and print center on high quality 80-110lb cardstock.
After printer cut out your rectangle banner pieces using scissors, exacto knife or craft cutting board, then punch two small holes at the top of your banner in both corner, (a double hole punch is the best tool for punching the holes into your banner, most copy and print centers have double hole punches available to customers.) check to ensure your holes are leveled in a straight line before punching, lastly hang your banner by stringing a long strip of ribbon, tulle, twine etc. through each tiny hole connecting all of your banner pieces.
Tip office max and kinkos have a large cutting board available to customers that makes cutting the straight edges of your banner very quick and easy

Water or Drink Labels
Water labels are a fun way to dress up the drinks at your event and really tie them into the theme! Wrapped water and drink bottles can also be given away as keepsakes and party favors.
Your water labels with be sent to you as a pdf file with 5 labels per 8.5x11" page, each water label measures 8.5x2".
Your water labels should be printed on Gloss text paper sometimes called magazine text.  Gloss text is a very glossy water proof paper (I would not recommend submerging in water for more than a couple hours) that is perfect for labels. Gloss text can be found at almost all copy and print centers simply inform the associate that you would like your order printed on gloss text instead of regular paper, you can also print on sticker paper but I’ve found sticker paper to be more expensive and harder to find.
After printing cut out your labels using scissors, exacto knife or craft cutter, wrap around bottles and secure with glue dots, double sided tape or glue stick

Chocolate Bar wraps full size and mini
Personalized chocolate bars are so fun and versatile!, they can be used as  party favors, keepsakes, announcements even  invitations.
Your cute candy bars wraps will be sent to you with two wraps per 8.5x11" page, each wrapper measures 5x5.5" and are designed to fit a standard 1.55 ounce chocolate bar.
You can print your wrappers or a regular sheet of printer paper but i recommended printing  gloss text paper for a shiny professional finish.
After printing cut out your wrappers using scissors, exacto knife or craft cutter, wrap around candy bars and secure with glue dots, double sided tape or glue stick

So these are the main items i get printing questions about, i will be updating regularly to add more information , I hope this info helped and if you have any questions you would like answered please comment below!
